Lislie graduated from Parsons with a BA in womenswear before working in the industry for 4 years. She started as a knitwear designer, at DKNY, and worked as a freelance shoe designer for Tara Subkoff for a few years. She then worked as a full time shoe designer, for Sam Edelman and Calvin Klein,

in New York before deciding she wanted to pursue her MA Footwear at the renowned Cordwainers College in London. Lislie was born in Hong Kong, grew up in England and finished high school and college in America. She is now freelancing for other companies and working on launching her own line here in London .
